پیرمرد کنار دست راننده جا به جا شد. به دقت نگاهی به صورت شوفر جوان انداخت و گفت: من پل مدیریت پیاده می شوم. راننده با بی حوصلگی اصلاً نگاهش هم نکرد و زیر لب غرغر کرد: باشه! پیرمرد بدن نحیفی داشت با کله ای به اندازه توماس مان. دماغش مثل بینی مجسمه های جزیره آستر بود. راننده قیافه مچاله شده ای مثل ادگار آلن پو داشت. به همان عنقی>>>

اخیرا چشممان به ویدئویی هشت قسمتی در یوتیوب تحت عنوان «ظهور بسیار نزدیک است» روشن شده که بی شک نمایانگر حد اعلای تقلای پروپاگاندایی حکومت آسیدعلی و آمحمود می‌باشد. تلاشی که معلوم نیست در راستای چه هدف نامعقولی است. آخر، حکمت این کارهای احمقانه چیست؟ چرا نمیتوانند در صلح و آرامی و مدارا با جامعه بین‌المللی ادامه به چپاول و حیف و میل ثروت بی‌پایان کشور بدون اینکه مردم را دچار فاجعه جنگ کنند بدهند؟ >>>

شش نفر قوزی ردیف نشسته اند روبروی قاضی. آن قدر کریه و بد قیافه اند که نمی شود به شان نگاه کرد دراز، کوتاه، باریک، پهن و هر کدام به نوعی بی قواره. اما همگی در بدبختی و فلاکت اشتراک دارند و در قوز پشت شان و هم چنین در حکم دادگاه، همه از دم اعدام. در دادگاه هیچ کس حرفی نمی زند. هیچ کس اعتراض نمی کند. هیچ کس از هیچ کس دفاع نمی کند. هیچ کس شهادت نمی دهد. اعلام حکم تنها صدایی است که شنیده می شود، حکم اعدام>>>

در حدود یک سال پیش بود که به کمک اینترنت و جادوی یوتیوب چند قطعه موسیقی جدید شنیدم. کارها مخلوطی بود از موسیقی کلاسیک ایرانی با کمی موسیقی جاز. از یکی از این کارها خیلی خوشم آمد. تنظیم و ورسیون جدیدی بود برشعرمشهوروقدیمی" خوابم یا بیدارم " ایرج جنتی عطایی که سالها پیش توسط گوگوش اجرا شده بود. بعدتر کارهایی بیشتری از این گروه شنیدیم>>>

The United States involvement in Libya is fateful reenactment of the Bush Doctrine, and any characterization of it as an Obama “thing” would be headline grabbing by the Obamites and simply theft of intellectual property. Three questions arise – first, why not take out the other disliked tyrants by instituting military actions that help armed insurrections to advance on the seat of power? The answer is that no armed insurrection by protesters - like the one in Libya’s -- has occurred as yet in any part of the Middle East this season>>>

به گمان من، اگر روزی بنا باشد فهرستی از تأثیر گذارترین چهرهای سیاسی و فرهنگی نیم قرن گذشته جنوب ایران، بویژه منطقه خوزستان، تهیه شود، منصور خاکسار یکی از نامهای این فهرست خواهد بود، با جایگاهی، شاید، در ردیفهای نخست. از تبار روشنفکرانی بود که باورهایشان را زندگی میکنند، با شخصیتی چند وجهی: شاعر بود. منتقد بود. در بررسی و تحلیل مسایل فرهنگی دستی داشت. و نیز، کوشنده ای سیاسی بود؛ از زمانی که خود را شناخته بود>>>

ضرب‌المثل ایرانی با این مضمون می‌گوید که دیگی که برای من نمی جوشد توش سر سگ بجوشد. اصلا برای هیچ‌کس نجوشد. حالا این پسران روستایی با خود می‌گویند اگر قرار است آنان به این حوریان و این نوع شیوه زندگی دسترسی نداشته باشند پس پس کاری کنیم که آن دختران و پسران مدرن طبقه متوسط نیز دیگر به آن نوع زندگی و لذت بردن جنسی و جسمانی دسترسی نداشته باشند>>>

People around the world have been making comparisons between the situations in their countries and those in the Arab lands in revolt. Will Saudi Arabia follow the path of Egypt? Is Azerbaijan like Tunisia? Such comparisons are often misleading, but we can't help doing it and sometimes such exercises can produce interesting hypotheses. For instance, looking at the spectrum of the Arab uprisings, I believe that Iran is more like Egypt than like Libya. Maybe>>>
