I don’t want to pigeon hole people, but I don’t think it’s a far stretch to say … someone that sells guns for a living is not going to be a tree hugging, peace & love touting hippie … with zero support for the anti-immigrant, anti-gun control, anti-Obama crowd. Maybe to her, we’re “firners” who should not be living in the U.S. at all, and should be “f***ed” as much as possible. I don’t know. می‌گویند رضا هیچ علاقه‌ای به تاج شاهنشاهی ایران نداشته و جمهوری را به شاهنشاهی ترجیح می‌داده ولی مذهب آن را به او تحمیل کرده است. برخلاف مردی که به دنبال جاه و جلال است او در خانۀ شخصیش باقی مانده و فقط به هنگام جلسه و اموری نظیر آن به کاخ سلطنتی میرفته است. کاخ مورد نظر نمونۀ مضحکی از تضاد بین جلال و شکوه و درهم برهمی و ژولیدگی بود. اولین حیاط قصر که تخت معروف مرمر در یک طرف آن قرار داشت، از طرف دیگر به یک ردیف خانه نظیر کلبه‌ای باغبانی ختم میشد >>>

Having studied religion to become a mullah himself, Kasravi changed direction of his life and became an ardent critic of the faith and the off shoots of Islam in Iran. انتشار یک ویژه‌نامه حجیم به عنوان ضمیمه روزنامه دولتی ایران در این هفته سرآغاز موج جدیدی از کشمکش و اختلاف در میان اصولگرایان حاکم شده است. موضوع این ویژه‌نامه که تحت عنوان «خاتون» نشر یافته، زن و حجاب است. کمتر روزی است که این وکیل یا آن وزیر یا مقام روحانی یا پلیس یا فلان «کارشناس» در این باره داد سخن ندهند. ولی اختصاص نشریه‌ای به قطر بیش از 250 صفحه به این موضوع از ناحیه یک جناح حکومتی بی‌سابقه است>>>
