The Queen of England has very little power indeed, UK is a constitutional monarchy unlike Iran which is more of a dictatorship.

Elizabeth II and Khamenei (who is a tyrant and rules like is king) are disimliar to each other. By the way the nick name of Elizabeth is spelt Ellie.

Not sure if it's apple with apple  between Khameni/islamist regime leadership and British royal family when it comes to wealth comparison.

Khanenei/ahmadinezhad's astronomical wealth are: stolen, hidden (mostly abroad) hence undeclared and are meant for the rainy day. Last , not least, The khamenei and ahmadinezhad came to power riding on the back of a revolution which was caused at least partly due to perceived financial corruption and wealth accumulation by pahlavi Royal family.

The reason that I didn't comment was that I don't like to compare them.  Actually, I don't like to talk about Ali Khamenei since I care less.

I only didn't like the Church affiliation of Queen, and I hope there is a fine line in their Christian involvements.

Thanks.

She is OK, unless you do not like her moves and motions dance (gher o atvaar). That is not the problem; before you take her home ask her to enroll in some popular Academies of Moves & Motions Dance!

Please, she is my sister (Indian sister):)

Since you were the first person who commented about that wedding you have the honor of being the royal couple godfather.....

Dictionary definition of godfather:

"A person who presents a child at baptism and responds on the child's behalf, promising to take responsibility for the child's religious education."  Religious education...LOL

Absolutely But What All Iranians Don't Know or Don't admit ...

by Darius Kadivar on

Is that their Turbaned King is an Usurper ...

Robin Hood ( Errol Flynn) Slams Prince John (Claude Rains)

and his Dynasty was Illegitimate from DAY ONE :

pictory: Bakhtiar Denounces Bazargan's Provisionary Government in exile (1979)

Hence why the Legitimate One should be Restored as the British did with Charles II :

RESTORATION: Shapour Bakhtiar advocates Restoring the Monarchy

Now if you want to play the game of Comparative History ... There is One thing the British Have that Iranians Never Will ...

And that is Self Esteem ...

Stephen Fry On Why Monarchy Is Imperfect Yet Should Be Preserved

For we actually take pride in having handed over the land of Cyrus and Darius The Great:

GOLDEN AGE: A Visual Tribute To The Pahlavi Dynasty (1925-1979)

to this miserable Lot:

FED UP WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: Ahmadinejad is NOT my Prime Minister !

KNIGHTHOOD: Order of the Garter bestowed upon Mohsen Kadivar For Giving me a Bad Name ;0(

SATIRE: Green Ambush for Mohsen Rezaee ;0)

SATIRE: I voted ;0)

Where as the Smart British on the otherhand have always tried to Shape their Legitimate Yet Imperfect Monarchy to fit the realities of the modern age:

British Monarchy To Remove Sexist Rules Regarding Royal Succession

whilst maintaining their traditions and national cohesion:

How Truly Democratic And Stable Is The British Monarchy?

But I am sure that we shall overcome and turn our great nation into that magnificent Fast Food Republic of yours:

SATIRE: The Burqa Republic of Our IRANICAN Dreams ;0)

And try hard to convince ourselves that Our 1979 Revolution was as justifed as the French Revolution we tried to emulate:

HISTORY FORUM: Bahram Moshiri's Take on The French Revolution and Why He Misses The Point ;0)

Except that there is absolutely Nothing "KABIR" in the Revolution of 1979 which Far from having been Highjacked as some of you Jomhurykhah's wish to claim But was delivered wholeheartingly by Your Ignorant Lots to the morans ruling over us with an Iron Fist:

Farrokhzad explains Khomeiny’s GREEN BOOK aka Tozihol Massael in detail in a Concert in Lodon (1983)

But Thank you for the Comic Relief ... Although it won't make Our PRE SELECTED GREEN Rebels any more Legitimate than the Fake and Smelly Dynasty they Wish to Topple:

How YOUR "Green" Color Was Chosen & By WHOME !

So Truly Unlike the Imperfect British ... 32 Years on there is not much about Your Turbaned Dynasty that makes me proud of being Iranian.

Samad Kooneh Berahneh Sheekameh Goshneh Abeh Yakh Anonymous sinners

Oh and lastly One last quality the British have that Most DIASPORA IRANICANS don't despite oweing EVERYTHING to the Pahlavi King's is : LOYALTY !

Fortunately there are still a few back home who have not lost that AUTHENTIC quality:

PRINCE OF PERSIA: Shapour Ali Reza's photos displayed at Persepolis, Iran

A GENUINE IRANDOKHT’s REBUTTAL (MUST WATCH)

and have kept the SPIRIT of GENUINE RESISTANCE ALIVE:

SPIRIT OF RESISTANCE: Iranian Intelligenstia Remembers Shapour Bakhtiar

So that Gives me Hope for the Future ...

Cheers Mate !
