After 20 years there has been a total lack of success in negotiations, with the Palestinians on one side and the USA and Israel on the other.

The Leader of US-Imperialism today "Barry Obama" said with the sincerity of a thief, the issue of peace is nothing to do with the UN. It can only come about between the Palestinians and the Israeli's. And humanity looked around itself only to see the Imperialist enablers among us nod at his utter nonsense. The main stream media has been doing most of our thinking for us, "manufacturing consent", and in the most viscious cases of brutality, using tricks from the tool box of war time propaganda to inspire entire societies to harm themselves and lose their freedom. Case and Point the 1979 Coup of Iran. So Today without shock Iranians of almost all socio-economic groups watch as The USA stands by ethnic cleansing, house to house murders, forced abductions, public humiliations, Israeli torture chambers, creation of mass concentration camps and the likelyhood of a veto against the bid of palestinians to the right to UN membership.

Cleverly, and exactly similar to the case of Iran, all the people of Palestine must suffer due to the actions of a minority of terrorists who are sending rockets into Israel even though they don't represent the wishes of the majority of palestinians. In Iranians case, we all have to suffer due to the terrorist govt that we do not even want or support. One that was grown, trained and cultivated outside Iran with funds so large no Iranian group could have afforded to pay for them.

Clearly there is hypocrisy going on here, the action of vetoing the recognition of Palestine is the complete opposite of the words the thieves lead by "Barry" use. And With Salesmen like "Barry" or "Jimmy" , who couldn't give a damn about human rights or the law, it is no surprise why Iranians were completely deceived regarding our late shah, who the imperialists called a dictator, a tyrant, a crook, corrupt, a megalomaniac.

These liars I mention to you have been historically so effective they have an entire nation deceived and ready at their fingertips, to do any task however dirty, even before they arrived in Iran looking to manipulate Iranians. Think back to the nonsense iranians started spewing out regarding our democratically elected parliament or free media during the 70's, this only further proves the point that Iranians that have still not lost the ability to think independently, need to act with greater wisdom & in pursuit of a constitutional monarchy for Iran.

Otherwise how can we honestly expect Irans fate to be better than that of the Palestinians. If we somehow cannot get our "masses" to untangle themselves from the mess created in 1979 by our "decieved & naive" intellectuals, under the management and orchestration of an empire that does not have Irans best interests at heart, then Iran will contine to suffer poverty & humiliations with no end in sight. One thing you can do as a humanitarian, is to take the noble path in this sad story & take actions that show you are individually joining forces with the under dog, the unimpeachable loser of the past, the good that was dishonestly cheated, working in a battle which you know your victory is against the odds in the current environment, but one in which you know that environments can and do change with time and could one day under the right circumstances see better days.

The easiest way you can do this, is every time you see an injustice or crime occuring at the hands of the USA or IRI, and during these dark humiliating times there will be many, make a point to remind people of the goodness, beauty and truth Iranians did enjoy before the coup of 1979. Make no mistake, Iranians today are the victims of militarism, Neo-colonialism, Foreign Alliances and Extremism supported from outside and to make progress under these circumstances we need more wisdom than to just say our solution is "democracy". As that is not in and of itself a cure for the 4 issues we face as a people.

This documentary on DK's blog was great.

How long have you lived in the USA? I have been there for a long time. The political system is broken beyond repair. The politicians do not care about US winning. They are more interested in stuffing their pockets.

Worse than it are those who sponsor them and pay for their campaigns. The ultra rich are utterly indifferent to the future of the nation. In time just as vampires they suck the juice out of America.

The other nations will need to protect themselves. In order to do so they will distance themselves form America. I do not see any solution to this. All I am able to do it to protect myself and my family. The empire is going to be gone. The Arabs; EU none of that will matter. People will be too busy fending for their selves. Honestly I will not be surprised if the nation disintegrates. Already the gulf between North; South; California are widening. The nation is divided nearly down the middle. What are politicians doing? Instead of putting them together they exploit the hate. Bring out the differences. Put out hate radio; hate television. More wars and more waste. How long is this going to keep. Something is going to give one day.

economic decline coupled with this issue is a disaster for US

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

in 10 years time they face a serious threat from eu27 on this issue, criminal terror forces will also be directed at them.  I think the US might be bluffing, if you think of the implications of their situation.  I don't believe that the economic crisis today is a political issue that could be fixed if only xyz.  If they play, US plays to win, it is the size of the hole the banks blew in the economy, it's too big to mend in a few years, hence genuine decline and less options to truly resolve it.  Decline economically will change the game for the US in a negative way.

Re: I think the USA is going to lose serious favor with Arabs

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

My dear Amirparviz: that happened a long time ago! Arabs know it will be a veto.

The USA is very capable of getting out of the financial crisis but it won't. Because it requires raising taxes on rich and powerful. Instead they will go on the path to wreckage. It is watching a slow train wreck. Unfortunately all of us living in the USA will be among the victims!

This happens all the time. It happened with Sassanids; Rome; Britain; France; Soviets; and now America. Then Israel will be left alone and to fend for itself. That is why they should have supported the Shah. Pahlavi were their real friends but they are not around.

I think the USA is going to lose serious favor with Arabs

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

Once they veto the dreams of 90% of Arabs and put them in a position where they can't do a damn thing, that humiliation will be a toxic issue. No matter what happens in the future with the USA, that will be the source of diplomatic headaches the US did not have before.

The words of obama saying he was change and he stood for democracy and Freedom will have been hollow.  America will only be able to resort to force and bombs and money, which is where it gets very interesting, because it is now going through a major decline of power and it can not continue to win using force.

It did for the last 60 years, but it may not be able to resolve its deficit, inflation, anemic growth for a decade.  So it really won't have anything to back up its weak position, this in turns makes its loss even greater.  There is a remote hope that in fact Humanity will not suffer from America's successes as a result of the Palestinians sacrificing themselves at the UN to put the USA on the losing side in principle.  On the otherside if the US climbs out of recession in the next 3 to 4 years and consolidates its financial economic strength, then the Palestinians will be screwed so badly I don't even have imagination to describe what they could face down the road.

When Gore picked Lieberman and McCain picked Palin I knew something is wrong. Both of them were half decent by themselves at least on the fact. Then picked the one VP who would sink them for sure.

Did the "orders" come from the top it was time to "self destruct". Are they so dumb to actually think those VP choices were going to help them. Neither is a good sign of them.

By the way last night I had a strange dream where I saw the Shah. I woke up this morning in a daze. Not remembering if the whole past 30 years is a nightmare. Ready to go; see the Shah an the throne and all being well. We may dream.

South America may be an option too. The facts are that USA is not what it used to be. And is getting worse all the time. Now we are going to get the far right Iranians screaming at us. But I just want a decent place for myself and my kids. USA is failing in that. Too corrupt; violent and little hope for a future. Before long it will only appeal to migrant workers.

Meanwhile all the Iranians I know coming to North America go to Canada. Not one is interested in even trying to get into the USA.

Why: because it is too much trouble. Not enough reason. I don't blame them Canada treats them much better.

VPK I was thinking the same thing......... LOL

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

How did these last few elections occur?  Who are we kidding, It was less than a choice, a devastating dilema.  Gore/Bush McCain/Obama, it's as if there is someone behind a curtain, a real sadomasochist, like the person in charge of Abu Ghraib, and this guy is having fun for himself at the expense of the rest.

If as some suggest, the military industrial complex has taken over in co-operation with US multinationals, then US democracy has hit a brick wall & the consequences will be more far reaching than this recession which we will eventually come out of.

I'm considering South America for the future, money goes far there too, less poverty, good healthcare and in some places high paying work for educated.

Do you really think Obama vs McCain is a real choice? How about the next election. Sure we don't have the "council of guardians". Instead we have the main stream media and the big donors.

Two parties that are really one. A bankrupt economy. A system where our retirement has turned into a casino gamble on Wall Street. Yes I would say it is a lie. Polls show people want:

  • A single payer health care system.
  • An end to all these wars.
  • Regulated and safe social security and retirement.

We get the opposite from the politicians. Anyone who so much as dares say anything else is ridiculed. By the talking heads on MSM. Months ago I watched the McLaughlin Group. It so disgusted me I have not watched TV news since. And that the PBS not Fox. I don't even want to think about the rest. When I moved here over 30 years ago we had a real democracy. It has been systematically destroyed by both Republicans and Democrats. Before long there will be nothing left.

I work with lots of Indians. Most of them make a bit of money; learn some skills; pack up and move back. Heck I am thinking of moving to India too! At this rate I will have a far better life there.

Bottom line for peace to occur. Jewish point of view.

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

Twice in the last decade Israeli leaders - Ehud Barak in 2000 and Ehud Olmert in 2008 - have accepted Palestinian statehood.

Dozens of settlements would have been uprooted and others
concentrated in blocs along the border, in exchange for which Palestine
would have receive compensatory territory from within Israel proper.

The result would have been a contiguous Palestinian state in
the equivalent of the territory taken by Israel in the 1967 Six Day War,
with Jerusalem as a shared capital.

Palestinian leaders effectively said no.

That's because the deal would have required one significant
reciprocal concession: confining the return of the descendants of
Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war to a Palestinian state.

The main obstacle to an agreement, then, is not territory or
settlements but the Palestinian insistence on the "right" to
demographically destroy the Jewish state. Absurdly, the Palestinian
leadership is demanding that Palestinians immigrate not only to a
Palestinian state but also to a neighbouring state, Israel.

This is the racism and Apartheid that scholars are talking about.  The irresolvable issue. That Palestinians must accept as lawful, the ethnic cleansing that occured by israeli's to create a pure jewish state. They must give up the right to return to their previous homes and since they are not negotiating as equals, the view is that Palestinians must accept it or suffer.

Does this issue impact the freedoms and human right of Iranians?  Maybe not directly, but when we live in a world that there is one law for the USA and its proxies, the law of force and another law for others, this highlghts the hardship Iranians will face at the expense of US Imperialism, miltarism, Alliances and its concerted effort to help radical groups/IRI and undermine peaceful groups like the late shah. a bullying, brutal, pushy, aggressive & stubborn approach is bound to be unfair for Iranians & many others.

We need to insist on our right to a constitutional monarchy despite US aims.

Do you honestly in all fairness believe that the lies and betrayals the people of Iran & Palestine are subjected to are okay, because of the possiblity of the people to not using their freedom responsibly to create value and serving the greater good?

No, I don't believe that. But I do look around at the Arab states and compare them with places like South Korea, Taiwan, etc (which used to be considered Third World countries) and realize that every single Arab state is a mess, and that mess is the result of a certain political culture which blames its problems on the U.S. and Israel -- the same mindset which sees the U.S. as the enemy of humanity or whatever.

How do you know whether the Palestnians will create Freedom as the late shah's team did before 1979 or be like other Arab states that exist in a state of tyranny?

If you have 20 existing Arab tyrannies, it's a little hard to believe that Number 21 will be the one exception, don't you think?

Bringing it back to Iran Bavafa...

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

Can we honestly expect Irans fate to be better than that of the Palestinians 60 years later?

If the Usa is not pursuing justice, freedom, democracy, what should Iranians be doing differently in light of the real obstacles they face?

Soosan Khanoon:  Bringing it back to Iran, if the USA portrays Iranian moderates, specifically the late shahs team, as dictators/corrupt/repressive/tyrants/despots/megalomaniacs and blocks them, while portrays Khomeini's as peace lovers with legitimate grievences, what will this achieve for humanity?

If when demonstrtors against the IRI go out and after millions of them being brutally crushed, the president of the usa , a few days later says he was "appalled at the response of the IRI," what does this say, is this not a form of strong encouragement to continue suppression?  So If the USA is manufacturing fundamentalism in Iran, who truly has the interests of the people of Iran in mind, their progress and prosperity?  What should an Iran Lover pursue under the circumstances of the last 33 years?

One more Arab state will make our world a better place

by AMIR1973 on

With the currently existing lineup of 20 or so free, forward-thinking, and advanced Arab states that contribute so much to the world's scientific, technological, medical and other pursuits, it is only natural to expect that the future Palestinian state will be another replica of such models as Syria, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, etc. Someone please let me know what time will the beheadings, lashings, stonings, and hangings begin in our future wonderful Palestinian state. Or will this be the ONE and only exception out of all of the 20 or so existing Arab states -- which is a little hard to believe, no?

Soosan Khanoom, how does this relate to Iranians?????????

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

Negotiatons fail in part because Israel refuses to accept the right to return of all the Palestinians which it ethnically cleansed from their homes which it now considers its exclusive Jewish territory .  The postions and justifications are just a game.  The real issue is how does, instability and injustice help the usa in creating a clash of civilizations & creating more religous terrorists.  The real goals of the USA are not understood by too many in the general public. It's all about freedom and democracy to those that allow the media to think for them.

Is Religous fundamentalism the USA's real goal?  It is doing a wonderful job in inspiring them and feeding their rage and mobilization.  To what end?  It knows it can count o radicals to suppress development and remove freedom in Iran to achieve what?  Is it after cheap resources and reduced competition?

Soosan Khanoom

here are some comments on the web

by Soosan Khanoom on

"Negotiations fail because Israel takes and refuses to give. Palestinians have lost every year since 1948; their territory shrinks, settlers occupy more land, and those unilateral advancements are used as excuses for more concessions favourable to Israel. 1967 borders won't work because Israel has expanded past them with no intention of giving an inch less than they have already taken. "

Americans banning Palestinians the right to have UN Membership only proves the fact that America is behind the Israeli agenda of NOT wanting Peace with the Palestinians. American agenda, belief and constitution has been exposed. All this talk about peace from the Americans and Israelis has lost all it's credibility, trustworthiness and sincerity. Wipe the wool from your eyes people."

In this modern day and age, there are still so many countries under tyrants or tyranny. Palestine has paid its price for the past 44 years. It is a shame on the Western nations for their apathy towards 4 million palestinians whose freedom and rights are trampled while the West preaches human rights for the rest of the world."

" 127 countries have recognised a Palestinian state based on the lines that existed before the 1967 Six Day War, including Gaza, The West Bank and east Jerusalem. Look at Israeli Foreign Minister Lieberman's comments and the hard line ministers who want to annex huge chunks of the West bank if Palestine proceed. Israel and its puppet are the ones standing in the way of peace and should be isolated."       "  I am very glad thet the Palestinians finally are taking their cause to the wider public rather than hopelessly waiting for the US to be fair to both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is very unfortunate the American public remains uneducated on the facts of this decades-long problem and does not realize that a unilateral support of Israel undermines American security."       " Obama should be disgusted in himself. The US says it stands up for democracy and used this as an excuse to topple Saddam and Gaddaffi yet when it comes to a rightful and well supported state of Palestine they use there veto. Why not let the world decide and put it to the vote. I point to the poll conducted by the BBC where 19 countries were polled and overwhelming vote for a state of Palestine"

Soosan Khanoom

But it seems that there will be a veto !!

by Soosan Khanoom on

" Christians United for Israel activists have sent more than 33,000 emails to President Barack Obama expressing appreciation for his administration's commitment to veto any UN Security Council action that would unilaterally declare a Palestinian State, and urging the president to remain steadfast in this pledge. "

Mr Netanyahu told reporters Mr Obama deserved a "badge of honour" for his defence of Israel. "

Since JFK there has not been a single U.S president who has acted independently..

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy

On the bright side...

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

There is a small chance Obama won't veto the Palestinians, in which case that means a Critical U turn in US Foreign Policy.

And will as a consequence imply support for the IRI/mullocracy destroying our society and imposing tyranny is coming to end. I can't see the USA keeping its mullahs which harms regional peace on the one hand and then on the other hand to do something that will promote the likelyhood of peace. They either want peace/development or neo-colonialism.

Change we can believe in happens at totally unexpected times.  I hope those in power realize how unworkable this policy is and gives the go ahead to change directions and start anew.  The world needs a country that acts in a way consistent with serving the human rights of all, equally & above profits.
