Number of people who believe in him does not make him right. As a professor you should know right is not based on number of people. The world is round no matter what people think.

Say 3000 years ago most Egyptians viewed the Paroh as a god. Did it make him a god? Or were they all plain wrong? I say they were wrong no matter how strongly they believed it.

In a country where denouncing Islam means death what do you want? Of course all the opposition pays lip service to Islam. The secular people in Iran now have a choice:

• Pretend to be Islamic "reformist" and work with that guise.
• Denounce Islamism and be killed.
• Go into exile.

Being Muslim in Iran is like being communist in Soviet Union. Opposing means death. Why not allow people freedom of religion then see who want Islamism? The fact that Islam is so insecure to punish any criticism is proof of its weakness.

The way communism melted down after Soviets so will Islamism. Yes we still will have Muslims but not in the numbers you think. Nor will all the reform be from them. Islam will be one among a diverse set not the only one as is now.

All the arrested are nationalist-religious people,

whom you always mock and attack by saying they believe in "charlatan" Ali Shariati. So, this is another example of crocodile tears by someone who advocates war, sanctions, destruction, and hatred.

دلسوز که شدی برات متین در هر سن و سالی که میخواد باشه یکی میشه و ظلم را دیگه نمیتونی تحمل کنی و از جون و مال براش مایه میزاری. اما باید راستش را بگی و از افشای حق و حقیقت نترسی. آنوقت خدا میشه یارت. خوب حالا اصل مطلب. چند درصد ما ایرانیها مسلمانیم (اسلام آورده ایم) و چند درصد مومنیم (ایمان قلبی داریم)؟ وچند درصد ایرانی ایرانییم (معنیش؟) مبرا از هر دین و آیینی؟ اگر شکوه و شکایت نامه ای به درگاه حق و به هموطنان عرض میکنیم آیا بهتر نیست بجای هدف قرار دادن «نظام پر برکت مسلمین» گروه و یافرد مشخصی را هدف بگیریم؟ و گرنه اشک تمساح ریختن با یک قلب آلوده به پالوده راهی بجایی نخواهد برد و همانند کوبیدن آب است در هاوَن!
