Alluhuabha

Kindly some dearest friends have already asked me for several times to write them how I spend time in prison. At first, I would like to mention that my imprisonment assigned for 4 years that 3 years of it have been expired so for in isolation cell (individually prison).

in this 3 years, I have been in the house of detention of security office center of Fars province (shiraz), where there is any public prison and all who stay there are of security or politics accuser and live in isolation cell.

The isolation cell is just a small chamber where its ironic door is been closed all the time and there is not any window or trap- door to out side area and a lavatory set has been installed in this small room.

Every prisoner has been let to go out side for fresh air around 30 minutes every day. There is no tree, no grass; what you can see is only concrete floor (as wide as a volleyball field) and large wall which beyond them the beautiful blue sky can be seen.

When the weather is so hot or cold or it is rainy you can not go for open air. One time every week, I can call to my family and talk to them for 5 minutes and also once every week I can meet them behind a thick glass just for 5 minutes.

ShirazEvery day some dedicated jailers are responsible for bringing breakfast, lunch and dinner and also to lead prisoner to open air. All of them are men and I can not hide this fact that their behavior against me is quite respectful and polite and up to now they have not tormented or hurt me.

In my cell there are a heater, a cooler, a TV set and also there are 3 blankets that one of them is used as a carpet and 2 of them for sleeping. Another facilities that I have on my cell are consists of: a soap, a shampoo, a tooth brush , a tooth paste , a box of handkerchief, a nail trimmer, a box of detergent, a towel , a comb and one added clothes and nothing else. I should mention that once every 2 or 3 weeks, the jailers ask a list of shopping from each prisoner for buying him/her the necessary hygienic facilities or some fruits. So as there is any refrigerator in our cells, the prisoners can buy only 1 or 2 kind of fruit like apple or orange.

Some of you may think that living with some simple facilities is very difficult, but the important fact is that every body, after passing some times, can learn how to live with such facilities without any problem; it means no problem if you do not have a mirror, and so even if you do not have comfort bed or furniture or refrigerator.

There is very important that how you train your spirit and thought for thinking about the values of humanity and spirituality freedom of all belonging just for divine goals. In this way you are glad and thankful and enjoy the opportunity.

It took one week for me that learnt how should I managed myself and my time for praying, reading the books, exercising, walking in the cell and watching TV without falling in the routine life.

Little by little, I learned while I am reading books, I took notes and starting to write searching articles. Also for the time of praying I make a schedule. For example, I memorized prayers and also began to practicing and learning an art that is called “illumination”. It is an Iranian noble art.

A bulk of my time is spent for reading and writing them. By helping BIHE (Bahai Institute for Higher Education), I started to study the political sciences (politics). Another field of my study is Islamic Gnosticism, Iranian social history, sociology and literature. (I’ve been given permission to have a book for each week.) In addition to study, some of my time is spending for writing articles and remembrance of prison and stories for children and youth. (Up to now, I succeed to write 60 stories that they are the profits of my practical experiences with children and youths and my studies.)

So, my daily schedule consists: at 6:30 am the jailer brings me breakfast, at 8 am I walk around my cell for 30 minutes and at the same time I chant “is there remover…”after breakfast, I start to study, at 10 am, the jailer take me to open air for 30 minutes and contemporaneous, I chant by myself “is there remover..”. When I got back to my cell, again I study or write something, at 12, the jailer brings lunch and up to 2:30 pm I watch TV and then rest fore a while. After that, again I study or write something, at 5 pm, I exercise for 30 minutes and after that I walk around my cell for 2 hour and at the same time again chant “is there remover…” (I chant more than 1000 times this verse every day).

After prayer I take a bath then listen to news and have dinner the jailer brought me before, after that I practice illumination for 2 hours, about 10:30 pm, I watch a film and finally sleep at 11 or 12 pm.

Every 3 months I have been allowed to have a vacation for one or two weeks. This is a nice opportunity for meeting my family and friends and going to a short trip and also can go to library and get some books in trust (about 12 books for 3 months next). Most of all, I can meet my illumination professor and he corrects my practices and teaches me new lessons.

When I am out, I have a golden opportunity to type my writings and articles by helping my friends. Also I can call all Bahai prisoners’ families in other cities and seeking after them and their prisoners. Some times, I meet some of the authorities of the state or some of high ranking lawyers in the country and consult them about the human rights of the Bahai community in Iran.

Maybe you think that being in the prison is so hard but if you believe that patience and perseverance in misfortunes is the cause of spiritual progress and elevation of individual and community, it gives you pleasure. In spite of the fact that some days being in prison was hard for me, but whenever I think about the 3 years that have been passed so far, it gives me the feeling of spiritual joys. The days of prison has given me many important lessons and it has made me ready for giving more services to the human world.

For ever, I am very thankful for this grace and talent that is given to me without worthy of it by Bahaullah, and I pray from bottom of my heart for my dearest and more devoted father and mother that have given me the present of the opportunity of living and asking mercy, forgiveness and success for them in the sight of God.

I have written of all my experiences and memoires during my imprisonment. Maybe I changed it to a book when I will be released. But I pay respect for those who asking me to do this job  until then this brief comment may be suffice, and I hope for the day  that can steps with all of you for sending the message of peace and unity of Bahaullah to all mankind especially my dear Iranian fellow countryman until disappearing all of prejudices  and ignorance from the world s face.

Your honor and happiness is all my wish.

Assuring you of my highest esteem

Raha sabet

May Mr. Baha'u'llah bring peace to your life. May you live in peace. So when are you joining the Baha'i Faith? The Newest religion, the fastest growing, the most tolerant, the most persecuted, the one that will take over the world government, with millions (?) of followers in India, Iran, America, Canada, Arabian Peninsula, australia............

How do you know that your Islam is not a cult now. Islam got the main character of cults: it threatens people who want to leave it. Bahai on the other hand do not kill people who leave them.

Maybe the British like or not like them. I don't care. It is not the point. The danger to Iran is not the Bahai. It is Islamists like you sir. I say we need to focus on getting rid of the main problem: Islam. Not until Islam is gone will Iranians prosper.

The Bahais are the darlings of the British Establishment who actively support them. The Bahai cult was seized upon by the British as an opportunity to undermine Islam in the Middle East and to promote a pro-imperialist religious agenda. The Bahais' "leader" is buried in Haifa, Israel where they hold annualmeetings with the full backing of the Zionist regime.

The Bahais are about as much a "religion" as the People's Mujahedeen are with their cult of the leader. I have written to the Iranian government to deport the remaining Bahais to Israel where they belong....but Tehran is afraid of the "bad publicity" this would incur.

I don't give a hoot about UHJ, not my bussiness

by Hoshang Targol on

Bahai's are probably the most apolitical community in Iran, and as religious as and conservative, and mainstream as any other organized reliogion, all of this is really none of my bussines. They also happen to be one of the most phucking repressed communities in Iran, since god knows when. Does the word HAMBASTGY mean anything to you? Is that too hard to understand? You still didn't tell us what you thought about the poem?

Once again I find myself in agreement with Hoshang! :-) You are dvianeh.

Now for my own opinion: Islam is BS and there is no such thing as "sacrilege against it. Islam is a phony evil cult not a religion. Therefore there is not "sin" against it. If there is any "divine" power behind it that is the power of "Div" not God.It is imperative on all of us to resist the Div. Whatever Bahai are represents it is not a sin against God.

May the Bahais continue to suffer for their heresy and sin

This wayward and bastardized cult of Shia Muslims who take their orders from Britain and their HQ in Haifa, Israel are the worst form of religious apostates and national traitors. They represent the preferred "Islam" of the imperialist and colonial powers and the Zionists.

Feed them to the lions.

N.Kh. we all know who you are, question is: do you know who

by Hoshang Targol on

you are?

I'm actually not a  Bahai by faith, I don't believe in organized religions one way or another. As an Iranian I see the rerspopnsibilty of having solidarity with the prosecuted, and Bahais are one of the many prosecuted communities in Iran, one could say the most prosecuted. That's all.

But, as far as you're concerned, at some point the issue of just how low you are going to get to " expose" UHJ, might occure to you. At the moment you're sounding just like Tah Gord Pirooz. Spreading doubts on prosecution of political prisoners in Iran. Could any mullah's agent do a better job for them, than you, of course you're doing it for free! You might think about quiteing , while you're 'ahead'!

You never said what you thought of the poem?

Ali Najafi

by nadeem khan on

I am sorry, let me make it clear that I or any other Moslem or any Azali or any Christian or any Jew does not hate Baha'is. There is nothing to hate if a person is a good human being. Even Islam does not permit to hate the Kafirs. Christianity or Judaism does not teaches to hate moslems or Baha'is or any other religion that believes in a prophet after Moses, Jesus or Mohamed. These are clergies among these religions and Counsellors among your religion who are mis-interpreting the peaceful teachings of these religions.

The teachings of Baha'u'llah are not bad. But the concept of Universal Government under the flag of UHJ is really dangerous. It is another form of W Faghih. The world has experienced that a religious government or commonwealth is very bad for the human kind. Doesn't your religion advocates a Universal Government under Haifan UHJ?

Doesn't your Ruhi books teach you to hate those who does not believe in Baha'u'llah? Doesn't you people hate Azalis, Orthodox Baha'is, Shi'ites, Covenant Breakers. Isn't it that your counsellors teach you all the time to be away from Covenant Breakers to hate them and isn't it that their breath is considered as poisonous?

Why hate others when u yourself promote love. Isn't this double standards? Why register religious symbols as trademarks? and persecute other baha'is for using the trademarks of your religion. Why doesn't you allow Orthodox Baha'is to atttend your ceremonies?

Why persecute Orthodox Baha'is if they do not believe in the UHJ of Haifa but they believe in the religion of Baha'u'llah, they believe in Abdul Baha, Shoghi Effendi.

The enimity is not with the Baha'is in person but with the Baha'i administration and Ideology which is very dangerous. Believing a body of nine normal elected persons to be infallible is really dangerous. Believing their decisions to be inspired by god himself is very horrible. Believing this body to be a 'manifestation of god'for today is again ????

For all those who believe in the sayings of Bahais that this so called religion (or faith) is undivided, please see this video, the lies of Baha'i Administration are exposed :

They Hate

They Perscute

They Shun

They declare others as apostates

They are divided

They sue a baha'i if his belief is a little different

Now, they advocate love.

To Mr. Targol,

What wrong did I said?

Isn't she getting a VIP treatment? She is writing a letter and sending it to the world. How is it possible if she is under severe survelence. What torture has been given to her. Any proof?

Can these prision of Iran be compared with Guantanamo Bay where broken bottles are put into the anus of so many innocent prisoners?

And, please don't be angry. You are a Baha'i, you are born to love others. Isn't it like that. All Baha'is are born to love and all Moslems are born to hate. You know the Baha'is are the only people following the religion of Love and Peace rest are all dead people following outdated religions? Am I right? Isn't this tought to you in your Ruhi Books?

Sorry if it hurt you.

By the way what is your openion about //www.uhj.net ?

Ali Najafi

Beautiful letter

by Ali Najafi on

Thanks for sharing this letter from Raha. Her strength is an example to me. It is sad that she has been sentenced for 4 years to prison. Her only crime is that she and 53 other young people were serving children in poor neighborhoods in Shiraz. They even had permission from the authorities to do this work. For being of service to other people, she has been put in prison for 4 years. This is 4 years of her life.

When I read Nadeem's post, I was disgusted. The fact that Nadeem does not like Baha'is or Baha'i teachings does not bother me. I am not concerned if he is an IRI agent or has just built this anti-Baha'i sentiment on his own. In life, each individual is responsible, on their own, for determining truth and what is right for them.

Even the fact that Nadeem mostly distorts issues and makes inaccurate statements does not bother me. Each reader can investigate and easily find the truth for herself or himself.

What disappoints me is that Nadeem has no empathy or compassion for the suffering of others. In fact, I think that Nadeem enjoys hearing about the pain of others. I wonder whether he was disappointed not to hear Raha writing about the many forms of prison abuse.

What makes me sick to my stomach is the hate a human can feel towards another human.

This probably is the only time I will address a comment that Nadeem makes.

We will never improve the situation of the world, if we do not demonstrate the compassion, principles, and integrity that we desire. This applies to us all, whether we are agnostics, religious, or atheists. We are all in this together.

Hoshang Targol

For someone who's so convinced, do you really need two names

by Hoshang Targol on

to repeat the same garbage. You were most politely asked to follow a certain procedure, mainly  to shut the heck up, if you don't have anything positive to say. But obviously you're oblivion to civilized norms of discourse. Most probably you also failed to read the poem too, we know, you're too dense and illetrate for that stuff. Yet,we're not elitist, so, here's the part that fits you best, good night and find a lake or a cliff,  you know the rest, cheers

She is being given a VIP treatment in the Islamic Prison. If this is true then this is really amazing and it falsifies the claims of mistreatment of prisoners by the western media. She didn't complained of sexual or any other kind of physical abuse.

I doubt the truthfullness of this letter but since it is published on iranpresswatch it can be true. iranpresswatch is one of the most reputed websites of Baha'is after //www.uhj.net    ;-)
