Translation would be nice

If there are any learned vistors to this page who know Spanish, it would be nice to have a rough translation of this song (Rosa Maria). I am not asking for a precise translation of its lyrics but I am interested to learn what is the singer saying about Rosa Maria and who she is and any other background information.
