Targeted Assasinations of members of the Islamic Republic regime

A while ago Israel successfully carried out a targeted assassination against Hamas commander Mahmoud Mablouh suffocating him in his hotel bedroom. The audacious and brilliant execution led to condemnation from many countries although each of them have used the same tactics as part of their own anti-terror campaign.

Whether the act was right or wrong, or in violation of international law is worthy of debate in its own right. However, can you imagine the satisfaction the Israelis received from killing a terrorist? If the despicable mullah Khatami, Ahmadinjead, or the great supreme leader of the Occupying Terrorist Monkey Mafia Regime were assassinated in their beds would you not feel the same gratification? I sure as hell would!

However, there is a serious side to targeted assassinations. Would the strategic executions of high profile criminals of the Occupying Monkey Mafia Regime not be the most quickest and effective method of combat against the regime. For Iranians opposed to the regime but campaign againt all forms of military action against Iran, then assassinating terrorists would be the best form of avoiding collateral damage and civilian deaths on a mass scale. Not to mention, of course, the devastation on the civilian infrastructure and the cost of rebuilding Iran after a war.

This is my dream. The reality is that Iranians do not have the military intelligence or political clout to carry out a successful anti-terror campaign like the Israelis and Americans. Nor are Iranians unfied in their objectives and plan about what to replace the mullahs.

However, if Iranians opposed to the Occupying Monkey Mafia Regime could forgo their deep seated animosity towards one another and channel their resources to destroying this regime then target assassinations should not be off the mark.

Examples??? Are you serious?

You are dyed in the wool supporter of the Islamic Republic. Pull the other one, and go board a ship bound to Gaza. I wish you every bit of success in lifting the blockade of Gaza which is your cause celebre when you are not pathologically accusing all opponents of the regime of being APAC supporters.

You are spot on and thank you for your encouraging support. Proper organisation of resources and inteligence gathering can lead to an effective implementation of a targeted assassination strategy. without this then any plan is dommed to fail like the Mojahedin.

A polciy of target assassination must be incorporated into a much larger policy of economic sanctions and student political movement on the ground. Another reason why groups like the Mojahedin were ultimately crushed.

Step 1 -Individual figures

Key targets: 1 The Opium Smoker  Khamenei 2) The monkey Ahmadi  3)Members of the Shoraye Negahban 3) Cabinet ministers 4 ) Individual members of Parliament 5) members of the Judiciary

Step 2 - Expansion

Satelite guided missiles can destroy any army base or Basiji paramilitray base from the air with 80-90 percent precision. The next step would be to destroy militray airports and communication centres including media broadcast centres. Send the army into chaos. Patrol all borders with Iraq to stop any reinforcement getting through to Iran. If Obama pulls out of Iraq now then the plan will be doomed.

Actually the analogy you used is closer to your Palestinian terrorist who you regularly champion in your blogs and commentaries.

You are powerless to stop Israel's existence. You are exactly like the band of terrorist ragamuffins on board the Floatilla who try to fight a sophisticated army with knives and axes. You still have not broken the blockade or come one inch closer to realising your ambition to destroy Israel.

On the other hand a militart attack on the terrirst occupying regime of Iran is a question of when and not if. It can be done by way of carpet bombing or killing of known terrorists. You are powerless to stop it and all your pathetic support of the Islamic Republic will not defend your regime.

The idea of targeted assassination has been tried, and failed before. MKO tried it in different scales when IRI was still in its infancy, which backfired big time.

There is no evidence that Israelis have achieved any of their goals by their handful operations of "targeted assassinations" against the Palestinian leaders so far, otherwise they would have never had to commit the infamous act of "mass murder" in Gaza some time ago.

The similarity between targeted assassination, and "turkey shooting" which was done by the Nazis inside the concentration camps reveals an ominous psychological footprint.

Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.

For once you cracked me up. Now I have to go and sit on the floor and eat my plain rice :-

Nevertheless I agree that the bunch of assholes running Iran need to be kicked in the arse.

Reality however is not a TV show. These assholes are killing our people. They will meet justice. The question is: how and by whose hands.

This reminds me of the TV

by Sargord Pirouz on

This reminds me of the TV show King of the Hill, where Kahn finds himself drilling in a Laos "liberation" army, just to cozy up to a wealthy elite and get himself a membership into 9 Rivers Country Club.

He goes through all the motions, but comes to the realization that his chances are nil, and that he'd be killed or captured, perhaps put in a prison camp. And for what? he ultimately realizes.

At the end of the episode, he realizes how far removed he is from all that "liberation" nonsense that's being fantasized about. So he opens up his swimming pool to the neighborhood (in Arlen, Texas), enjoying his life as it is, and forgets all about guns, killing and a "liberation" that is no longer relevant.

Not if it is executed correctly

by Aryana-Vaeja on

Instead of pouring money down the gobble of irrelevent causes or the Islamist terrorist Jundullah in Baluchistan, if Western governments made a serious effort to offer money (and lots of it) to an ad hoc Iranian national liberation army well armed, well trained and organized, which would also include mercenaries like the French Foreign Legion in its midst, it would not take very long for an instensive assassination and guerilla-war struggle to push people into the streets and so encircle this infernal regime and its foreign backers and dispatch it straight to hell where it belongs. A blueprint for such a struggle to look at would be Mao and the Chinese Red Army's struggle against the Japanese and the Chiang Kai Chek Nationalists during the '30s and '40s.

I think this is a great idea proposed by Simorgh555. It just needs to be implemented correctly and needs serious money and backing to lead it to a successful conclusion. It can be done provided this is available.

The problem is that it will backfire

by dingo daddy En passant on

I don't have a problem with bringing leadership of IR to justice.

But this was tried already, remember the 72 people who got killed by the Rajavi group. Other revolutionaries like Rajai assassinated? That didn't do anything. Maybe made everything worse.  I think because the assassins lose the moral authority. This is a martyr culture. That's why it will backfire.

We are better than this.

Dame shomaa besyaar garm ast! If you want to put this plan into effect beyond just words or suggestions, count me in, I am fully with you and don't give a damn who knows it!!!

@Q, you're a asleep or playing dumb! Wake up and smell the coffee. Your eshaalic republic has effectively ceased to exist as well other than as a convenient facade for certain nefarious forces. The Sepaah dictatorship over Iran is now effectively a joint Russian-Chinese imperial occupation of our motherland by proxy. While you don't want to rock any boats and are hoping against hope that the Greens somehow win someday, daily Iran is falling more and more into the grasp of this Russian-Chinese occupation-by-proxy. If you and your kind were any kind of patriots, you would be crying bloody murder right about now. But you don't because you don't have gumption or balls!

Simorgh555-e-azeez, the net of assassinations needs to be widened beyond the effective leadership of this militarist "Islamist" occupying entity. Our problems now are not just with these sons-of-bitches. We have other more powerful and just as dangerous mf-ers breathing down our collective will here as well!

Let there be the Army of the Saoshyant!  :-)

There is no easy solution but target assassinations can work

by Simorgh555 on

I agree with the phrase that assassinating members of the occupying islamic regime will be early executions and not acts of random terror. I also agree that advocating target assassinations of Ahmadinejad & Co will raise questions of morality and reprisals but commentators like Mamad are living in a delusional world where despotic regimes can only be removed through the power of civil and anti-violent protest. This will not happen. It is atotal myth that civil unrest alone led to the end of appartheid in South Africa and the British Raj in India. The threat of violence, economic sanctions as well as diplomatic pressure are needed.

Mamad will have us believe that by "reasoning"with the Islamic Republic or supporting one or more of its reformist politicians such as Mousavi - who is alligned to the occupying terrorist government, or powerless to change- will bring about the freedoms which most Iranians want and we take for granted.

If you follow down the line of "passive reistance" then we will end up like the Tibetans and the failure of the well-intentioned Dalai Lama in realising our liberation.

If Mamad wants to wait for another 50 years then that is his prerogative but I don't want to wait until there is nothing left in Iran but Mosques and the culture of death and terror.

Target assassinations will not be easy and break international law. What is the alternative? A legal UN backed war (which will eventually happen)  wrecking Iran?

Don't be emotionally misguided like Mamad. The technology is here with us and we must lobby the Americans to boraden assassination policy into Iran.

Assassination of all Iranian high officials, MPs, Basiji and  militay personnel is the most viable solution.

Kill them all and get this over with once and for all. Remove the filthy sayeeds, Akhoonds and other islamist vermins out of our society along with their gene pool if needed, the rest of the fake islamists who are in it for the money and power will fall on their asses like they did during the protests, then we can have peace.

Remember that These people are pure evil, and there would be nothing wrong if the Iranian people remove evil, especially if it's to defend theirselves and their nation against such parasites.

it is a tough call....

by shushtari on

because individuals like khamenie, mottaki, mortazavi, fallahian, and hundreds of other vultures with blood on their hands are, in fact, guilty of murder of a lot of innocent iranians.....

now, it would be ideal to haul these creatures and give them a trail and THEN hang them- but that may materialize only if these idiots turn themselves in and agree to stand trial!!

the difference here is that when khalkhali and khomeini sent assassins to murder shahriar shafiq, dr bakhtiar, gen oveissi, and hundreds of others, they were simply murdering a lot of INNOCENT PATRIOTS....

HERE, this is not really an assassination, but an EARLY EXECUTION....

then again, one can argue that this is being on the same level as the akhoonds......the debate continues

Targeted assassination of IRI officials is precisely of the same act as the IRI has done here and there and we all call it terrorism.  Likewise the assassination of the Hamas member by Israel was of the very same act, international terrorism. Most of us have a distinct dislike for IRI regime and as many of us have the exact same feeling for the terrorist Israelis regime.  Yet, trying to remove both cancers from our world can not be done by terrorism unless you want to be one of them.

P.S. Such calls against Israeli or American idiots such as those featured here is considered hate crime and punishable in the court of law.

even though many times the "terrorist" is actually a liberation fighter.

Do you consider Al Qaeda, the Taleban, and likeminded Islamists to be "liberation fighters"? Are countries and territories ruled by such elements "liberated"? Hardly.

And, I thought that we, who beat our chests for a "democratic Iran," are supposed to be different than the IRI that assassinated so many of its foes outside Iran.

Do you lump the Al Qaeda, Taleban, and likeminded Islamists assassinated by the U.S. together with Shapour Bakhtiar, Ghassemlou, and the many other Iranians assassinated by the IRI? There is no comparison, sir. Regards.

FredCo is an AIPAC supporter and an Israel cheerleader. Read his own words:

He says directly (lie) that supporting AIPAC is supporting "the Iranian nation."

The AIPAC policy, "airtight" sanctions that he advocates every day with the kind of time and resources that only professionally paid PR people have, are not only responsible for killing a million Iraqi's just by themselves, they are also a easy gateway to actual war, which FredCo only pretends to oppose.

Only a warmongering propagandist doesn't acknowledge the connection, and only a professional coward attacks people's real identities from the safety of a fake persona.

About your first point:

I thought that this country is different. I thought that this country has something going for it, "American exceptionslism," and the exceptionalism was supposed to be exactly about such issues: Rule of law, having your day in court. I am not opposed to attacking the true terrorists, like Al-Qaeda, although in the American Exceptionalism it is the US that gets to decide who is a terrorist, even though many times the "terrorist" is actually a liberation fighter. The true terrorists should be found anywhere and either brought to justice or, if that cannot be done, killed. But, issuing an executive order authorizing assassination of a US citizen without due process is beyond the pale.

//www.huffingtonpost.com/muhammad-sahimi/the-...

And, I thought that we, who beat our chests for a "democratic Iran," are supposed to be different than the IRI that assassinated so many of its foes outside Iran. But, if you think we should forget about this, fine. Then, that was indeed my point. Terrorism is good if we use it!

About your second point: You are right about one thing.

What I meant was people with mentality such as this blogger, but it was not clear. The rest, in the spirit of what you said, let's agree to disagree.

I agree with your assessment.  I am not in favour of a full scale invasion which would lead to resentment and a quagmire similar to Iraq but precision bombings of key institutions of the Islamic Republic should take the war to the terrorists own turf and hopefully the demonstrators would return to the streets crippling the terrorist regime's ability to fight civil unrest and fight back the Americn forces at the same time. Ultimately, Iranians will play a decisive roll supported by the Amercians in the side line.

Satelite guided missile systems and intlligence on the ground are strong enough for Americans to carry out any assassination of the Hezbollah occupying terrorists.

Amercians should not be concerned about reprisals from the Islamists. Hezbollah  terrorists have been attacking American interests from taking over embassies, hostage taking, destruction of army barracks and funding and supporting Shia militaries in Iraq. This is a much better justification to attack the mullahs than the nuclear issue.

Americans have all the jsutification they need to destroy the Islamic Republic. It is the Islamic republic which has waged an undeclared war on America and the Iranian people whether they are in exile or in Iran.

My only wish is that Obama attacked the Islamists during the summer of 2009. We may have to wait a long time for the same political climate to take place again.

Only in this website "deep thinkers" opine that because Obama has condoned an act of terrorism, it is ok. Hay, his middle name is Hussein! How much more legitimacy do you need?

Dear Mammad, I have never claimed to be a "deep thinker"--I will leave that distinction to you--no doubt a scientist of world renown. As far as the U.S. government's policy of assassinating the folks who on a daily basis send suicide bombers to crowded marketplaces and mosques in order deliberately to maximize the number of other Muslims they murder--yes, I support that policy. To my mind, it is morally defensible to try to save the lives of countless innocents by fighting the perpetrators of these heinous acts. If you disagree, that is your right in the democratic country where you reside--a right that Khomeini and his devoted followers Mousavi, Khatami et al. have never permitted the Iranian people.

No wonder Iran is where it is: it is because of such "deep thinking bloggers." As JJ said in another thread, we wonder why the world is looking upon us so negatively.

Precisely. Iran is in the wonderful state that it currently is in because of the dastardly bloggers on Iranian.com--and not because murderous Islamists have been ruling the country for the past 31 years. Those would include some of the same "reformist" Islamists that you support to this very day. Regards.

Only in this website!

by Mammad on

Only in this website psychopths like the author get to post "blogs" like this, so that they can claim to be a "blogger" and a "deep thinker."

Only in this website, confessed AIPAC Mafioso gets to disguise his advocacy of war, destruction, hatred, bloodshed, airtight sanctions, and materials support - read bombs - as his expression of love for Iran.

Only in this website the virulently anti-Iran and anti-Muslim gets to pose as imposters of "democrats" and "secular."

Only in this website terrorism by their side is acceptable - no, not just acceptable, but great!

Only in this website a "benevolent" gesture is made by declaring that the terrorism of Israel is actually subject to debate - thank you for your generosity!

Only in this website "deep thinkers" opine that because Obama has condoned an act of terrorism, it is ok. Hay, his middle name is Hussein! How much more legitimacy do you need?

Only in this website fake prophets get to declare that such suggestions for acts of terrorism should be taken seriously as a viable way of addressing the present situation  - causing the true Prophet to spin fast in his grave.

Instead of saying, "let's hope that Iran will become a democratic society with an independent judiciary that will punish all those who have committed crimes against people," and "let's hope that all the culprits will actually survive until such time as a democratic Iran, so that we can all learn about the extent of their crimes," the only thing the brian of some people - if they have any - can produce is such "taraavoshaat," and not just as a conversation after a heavy dinner and lots of drinks, but as a "blog!"

No wonder Iran is where it is: it is because of such "deep thinking bloggers." As JJ said in another thread, we wonder why the world is looking upon us so negatively.

Will it be achievable in terms of logistics inside Iran? I wonder.

Obviously, we're talking about a hypothetical scenario. And debating on whether or not the U.S. could is not the same as whether it should or would. However, if the U.S. made it its goal to assassinate IRI figures no matter what, then it has the means to do a lot of damage. The U.S. has a large supply of planes, bombs, missiles, drones, etc. It could bomb the IRI's pseudo-"parliament" the Majles; it could bomb the "Death to America" gathering at the Friday prayers where various regime figures gather every week. It could bomb the residences of Khamenei and other folks. In order to achieve the greatest efficacy, it would need an element of surprise. Of course, these regime figures could go "underground", but then you have the Supreme Leader pulling a Mullah Omar or a situation like Saddam and his two sons. They would be hunted men. Needless to say, there may be potential ramifications for the U.S. too, but the U.S. has a lot more capacity to punish the IRI then the other way around. Again, I am not saying whether the U.S. should or would; but I'm observing that the U.S. has a lot of capacity to hunt down the IRI's so-called "elite", if events were ever to come to such an extreme situation. Regards.

Simorgh555

Will it be achievable in terms of logistics inside Iran? I wonder.

The Israelis have succesfully infiltrated into the higher echelons of power in Hamas as well as Hezbollah. This is largely due to the fact that most Israelis from sephardic backgrounds speak Arabic and familiar with nuances of Arabic culture. Infact, an assassination carried out in Iran, by lets say, a team of Iranians or Israelis, will carry less risk than an asassination in Dubai where they easily stand out as Europeans in an Arab country.

There are signs of visible cracks in the Iranian army as well as the Basiji's especialy after the clampdown of Sumemr 2009 making them susceptible to bibery and corruption. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of their vulnerability.

Unfortunately, killing the likes of Motaki and Larijani even though they travel Iran frequently will be diffuiclt because of their round the clock protection.

If Obama actually extends assassination policy beyond the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan then this may be conceivable.

AMIR1973

Assassination of Islamist terrorists approved by Obama

by AMIR1973 on

The assassination of Islamist terrorists in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc is a policy endorsed and approved by the duly elected Democratic President of the U.S., Barack Hussein Obama, a former community organizer and the most multicultural President the U.S. has ever had. Whether or not you agree with it, this is by no means a "fringe" idea, though the U.S. has yet to extend it to the IRI. (Needless to say, the IRI has a long history of raping, executing and assassinating in a premeditated and deliberate manner many thousands of Iranians, both inside Iran and abroad, including even teenage girls and elderly women).
