I make a distinction between "Koran / Bible" thumpers and spirituality. There is a huge difference. Most Bible thumpers would crucify Jesus if they ran into him! The notion of spirituality is almost opposite of organized religion.

I see no reason to dwell on questions like "who created God". I don't know. And I don't have any way to find out. So for now I live my life. I do not follow any religion. I do not care which hand I use to wash my ***. I do not pray to Mecca. I do not spend all day testifying that Mohammad or Jesus was a Prophet. I got code to debug and kid to raise. This whole ritual business is BS and I hate it. But I do not hate people who want to have some spiritual lives. It is their right and we should respect it.

The whole notion behind the argument that bible thumpers and ghoraan caressers make is that all things are "created".

now some people go to school and study science or art and some choose to study religion studies .... but just because they study religions that does not mean that now all of a sudden they are God's rep on earth ...

That book whatever it is scientifically speaking has a few good points  in it... it makes one wonder. Sometimes it is worth to read those points. Given the fact that the book was written long time ago.  Do not let the only thing you get out of it be in its denial but I am not here to discuss religion...   I am not even religious ...

The video is an inspired interpretation of what the scientists who made it, THINK happens. Based on rudimentary data. It's not for certain that this work which obviously inspired you too, is the way it is, for real.

This is an elaborately decorated 3D cartoon of what happens. Until they can show me for real, I'll leave the miracle of life to my faith in God. I don't doubt that man can produce some truly inspired shit, but even the Sistine Chapel isn't proof of God. It's proof of faith

This is just the usual book of a religion that asks for the faithful to have faith. No proof of God here. Proof is when of God demonstrates his existence, by his own hand, not man's.

Again, empty promises that divert attention back to the overly complex concept of "Faith", through a book, that feigns to be the word of God, and suggests/cons you that you don't have enough faith to be faithful. Really faithful. But once gain, a book written by man claiming to be the word of God is no proof of God's existence.

Uh, no it is not, if one is trying to prove God's existence. This is a commonly used and widely accepted characteristic of God, that God is Omni-present, and can see and hear all. Historically this has been used to instill insecurity in the flock being shepherded, in order to remove the thought that you can get away with anything without God not knowing. By instilling this fear of being caught sinning, control is established over the Sheep. Once in your head this way, the typically unscrupulous preacher begins to plant seeds of tithe and donation, as appropriate penance for man's natural tendency to sin, which of course goes to the cause. Or the preacher's pocket book.

My own personal indicator of why all preachers are corrupt? You never see a skinny or starving preacher. They are always fat, or look like they've just eaten. Probably because they just did!

I was wondering which catergory the religion approves physical explotation of man by another man belong to. Is this religion made by men or it was made by creator of this universe.?  Here are some relevant verses:  33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."

            This verse clearly shows that Muslims believe that taking slaves in war was a God-given right.  These slaves were considered 'booty' or the spoils of war.  As the saying goes:  to the victors go the spoils.

23:5 -   "... except with their wives and slave girls, for these are lawful to them:..."

            The passage's context here (not quoted in full) details how Muslim males are allowed to have sexual relations with their wives and slave girls. Implicit in this is that Muslim males had slave-concubines.  70:30 is basically a repeat of 23:5.

            Ibn Sa'd's "Tabaqat", gives a clear description of Muhammad having "relations" with at least one of his slave girls.  Muhammad had sexual relations with Mariyah, his Coptic slave.  Mariyah and her sister, Sirin were slaves given as gifts to Muhammad.  Muhammad gave Sirin to Hasan Thabit, the poet.  Ibn Sa'd says that Muhammad "liked Mariyah, who was of white complexion, with curly hair and pretty."  [Taken from Ibn Sa'd's "Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir" (Book of the Major Classes), p151].

            Ibn Sa'd also writes that Mariyah bore Muhammad a son named Ibrahim.  He died 18 months later.  Sa'd writes:  "If he had lived, no maternal uncle of his would have remained in bondage", p164.  This shows that there were other Coptic slaves owned by the Muslims.

            The Quran also instructs Muslims NOT to force their female slaves into prostitution (24:34), and even allows Muslims to marry slaves if they so desire (4:24), and to free them at times as a penalty for crime or sin (4:92, 5:89, 58:3) and even allows slaves to buy their liberty, if they meet certain of their master's conditions (24:33).  [90:10 'freeing of a bondsman' refers to Muslims ransoming other Muslims who were slaves of non-Muslims.]

            While I think it's nice to allow a slave to obtain his freedom, (at his master's discretion) it is tragic that Islam allows them to be enslaved in the first place.  That's like robbing a bank and giving some of the money back to the bank, and thinking you did the right thing!

            The above verses show that taking slaves was ordained by Allah, and that it was permissible for Muslim males to have sex with their female slaves.  It also shows that slaves were a valuable commodity to the Muslims, otherwise, Allah would not have imposed the penalty of freeing a slave to make up for a crime.

The word conflict is the first word one learns about in the oldest book in the world. The Zend Avesta places the psychology of having the irreconcilable two opinions in the Good Mind. Sounds pretty confusing. So let's say you have to decide tomayto or tomahto. That situation. Questions and the dilemmas. All of this was written and experienced by your ancestors a long time ago and was discussed. Who cares about KM. The problem we have is that KM and other non-Iranian philosophers did not really do their homework properly. Actually Hegel did. But he barely touched on Iranian philosophy. Now they all know that discussion and dialogues as Socrates and Plato put it, do stem from the conflict between Ohrmazd and Ahriman in the Good Mind. But none of them actually read about this discord and how Zoroasterianism had to create the concept of Free Will to release the individual from stupid questions.

Thanks for the [unverifiable, and totally "feelings" based]  info. about the existence of a "creator" who also happens to have designed me, dear SK.  based upon this Earth shattering info., I went ahead and retained counsel to immediately file suit against this malicious creature for giving me a defective heart.  According to my attorney, the "creator" was either negligent and / or reckless in placing a defective heart in my body, for which I can recover compnesatory damages.  Moreover, according to my counsel, if we discover later on that the creator knowlingly, and with ill intent, placed this defective organ in my body, we will also be able to recover punitive damages.  

My attorney has already drafted the lawsuit and it's ready to be served.  The only problem that we have is that we do not know the current whereabouts of Ms. Creator, a/k/a Designer.  So, again, if you can please advise us of this creature's hiding place so we can have her served with a summons, we would be very thankful.  We may even give you a percentage of our recovery, after  my attorney's 331/3 percent fee of course.

Flowering plants are smart and sexy......

They know how to grab the attention of the passing insects. .... Flowers actually intentionally, flaunt  Sex. ......

It makes perfect sense really, since it's the flowers job to manage the reproduction of the plant........ Plants produce beautiful flower petals of varying colors and shapes to advertise the sexual organs ever so masterly hidden inside and then release powerful aphrodisiac scents, an instinctive incentive for insects to come in and play. ....

Nectar and pollen are the insects' rewards and the plant benefits from the insects who carry their pollen to other plants which insures rapid fertilization and reproduction.  By the way , Pollen is the entire male organ !!

Flowers are smarter than you might think .....  hmmmm that rings a bell ..... there is a mind behind it ... a tricky playful mind but still intelligent and brilliant
