There was almost nothing substantially new in either the Iranian President's UN speech this year, nor in the reaction of the representatives of some Member States. Actually whatever he said was quite predictable and routine, while what he left out in his speech was remarkable and relatively thought-provoking.....Ahamadinejad did not mention Palestine's bid for full membership in the UN, which happens to be opposed by Israel, the US of A, and Hamas.....................Who could've thought Hamas would be of the same political view with the Great Satan?
Speaking of the USA and the Palestinian bid, I find it interesting that the American establishment doesn't hesitate going to the UN in search of international supporters, or should say international financiers, whenever it finds it necessary and beneficial to declare war against another country and invade it, but it condemns any declaration of peace through the UN.
