Oposition tio Islamic rupublic of rape is most natural reaction of any sane person; and those who are actively striving to get rid of it are the true champions and deserve a collective bow from the rest of the human race.

More about Allah
by Abarmard on Thu Dec 09, 2010 09:28 AM PSTA likely etymology of the term is that it is an ancient contraction of al-ilah (Arabic for "the
god") and was probably first used in Arabian cosmologies before Islam
to refer to some kind of high deity who may have been considered the progenitor of a number of lesser divinities. The word Allah is best known in the West as the name Muslims ascribe to the one and only God, whom they believe to be the transcendent
and partnerless creator, lord, and judge of the universe. It is
important to note that according to Muslim teaching, Allah is not only
the God of the prophet Muhammad but also the God of Moses and Jesus -
and is therefore identical to the divine being of Jewish and Christian
sacred history.
While Muslim tradition recognizes Allah to be the
comprehensive name of God encompassing all the divine attributes, it
also ascribes to the deity an additional ninety-nine "beautiful names" (al-asma al-husna), each of which evoke a distinct characteristic of the godhead. The most famous and most frequently referenced of these are "the Merciful" (al-rahman) and "the Compassionate" (al-rahim).
Allah
by Abarmard on Thu Dec 09, 2010 09:17 AM PSTmany years back I had read an anthropologist who had investigated the origin of the words, such as Allah in the Saudi desert and chiefs. There are not many records to confirm that, and I am not going to argue something that is very debatable. However it did make sense to have a word, thousand and some years ago representing a leader, as kings used to do, as God. It made sense that the word had a previous usage in that pre-Islamic Culture.
The actual meaning, you may find from Arabic dictionaries, but mostly refers to the name from the Islamic era on. Wiki is a good source for many things but not a solid document. My point was to answer the individual for that Allah did not mean God when Islam did not exist.
The mentioning of many Gods is to refer to the time of Islam and that there were many Gods present, which Allah was one of them (meaning many Gods were worshiped in Kaaba). The prophet of Islam then declared that Allah is the only God and there were no need for others...Refer to "No god but God" by Reza Aslan as one source.
Hope this helps.

by Truthseeker9 on Wed Dec 08, 2010 03:30 PM PSTWhat is evident here is that there are those that are just not happy to put forwrd their opinions and accept others perspective of material, and repeat and repeat their views again to shove it down peoples throats, when that fails attempt to belittle them by implying they are either "unsympathetic", "idiots", or "Iri supporters" . And these people want free speech and democracy for a future Iran. God help us.

by Anonymous Observer on Wed Dec 08, 2010 02:42 PM PSTAllah meant head of the village in old Arabic. A common name. That name was chosen to name the God of Islam as head of all the other Gods.
That's all I know.
Sorry, but if that's all you know, then it's not much. Allah was the name of the pagan supreme deity in pre-Islam Arabia, although by no means the only God. Here, take a look:
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allah
Also, I'm sorry, but this sentence of yours is also pretty idiotic:
That name was chosen to name the God of Islam as head of all the other Gods
"Head of all other Gods?" I though Islam was a monotheist religion. How can it have "other Gods?"

by ShahyadBozorg on Wed Dec 08, 2010 02:07 PM PSTYou sir, are truly an idiot. Brainwashed by the best of them, it seems. You speak about islam as if it's yours, it's not. Read up on your beloved Khomeini, the Indian, and see what people and language he sees as God's chosen.
These dogs will fall, and there will be no dirty allah in sight to save them. Only sheitoon will be there, to collect them and hopefully you. Islam is a religion for Arabs, by Arabs. It was designed so the Arab would stop wiping his ass with both hands and use just the left, I guess Mohammad was sick of the smell of shit on his right hand after shaking his brothers hand! You will see, in our lifetime, Iran will revert back to the way of Zartoshd and will prosper once more.
And for the record, your dirty little arab worshipping ass had better not celebrate Nowrooz. That is an Iranian celebration, by Iranians, for Iranians, brought down by the one true prophet Zoroaster.
As for the little girl in the video, I can relate. I was raised in a pro Monarchist house, watching as I grew up while my fathers friends and associates were being assassinated in France and Germany, and even an attempt on my father when we moved to Canada. I despise Islam, and even more so the Akhoonds who perpetuate the lies. They have drained our nation, and punished our people. Their time is coming, and we will punish them. She just made me a little more proud to be an Iranian.

If so, I hate to rain on your parade, both those guys got annialated by a bigger brute than themselves, and your beloved Allah was nowhere to be found. The same faith awaites your Republic of Arab Islam in Iran, not at the hands of an external power, but by our own people in Iran.
Next question is, these "so called DREGS" you're speaking of, what is IRI gonna do, let me guess, Concentration Camps Coming Soon to all Cities in Iran ! Keep on dreaming.
Last question, we've always been told that Allah is God and that Mohammad brought his message and invited (By sword ofcourse) others to this true god, if that's so, have you ever thought why his father was named "Abdollah" which means warship is for Allah?!! Mind, it's a terrible thing to waste. Think dude, think.

IRI: Maybe they are abroad. But they were in jail when the video was made. Maybe IRI decided to release them as a result of the video. I do not know what goes on in the sick mind of Akhoond. I hope I never understand such evil people. I just want to see the IRI leadership punished so even the desert wolves pity them.

Anyone is free to believe what s/he wants to believe. The point is no one, at least no one who I've read, is accusing this little girl.
Anyone on this thread who is accusing me of attacking this little girl, is senile! Why would I attack a little girl?
BTW, she is 7 years old and in first grade presumably and she is so tired of going to school. I myself have put "funny" words in children's mouths to repeat in our circle of friends and family because it is cute. But never do it like this in a public forum and even then whose responsibility is it to believe?
Sure Islamic Republic is doing all she says, but that's not the point. The point is this is a hoax.
