بابک و من تو خیابون باریک «جمهوریت جاده‌سی» که یه سرش به میدان تکسیم می‌خورد دنبال کلیسای کاتولیک می‌گشتیم. کنسولگری خیلی از کشورها تو این خیابون بود. هوا گرم بود و پیاده‌رو شلوغ . نمی‌شد راحت راه رفت. بابک و من عقلامون‌رو رو هم ریخته بودیم و به این نتیجه رسیده بودیم که اگه بریم بگیم می‌خوایم مسیحی بشیم شاید بتونن یه کمکی بکنن تا از ترکیه بریم>>>

حاجی، حاجی تبریز بود. یکی دو ماهی بود که تو هتل می‌دیدیمش. یه‌بار هم وسطاش رفت ایران و دوباره برگشت. نمی‌دونستیم چی می‌فروخت، چی می‌خرید و یا طرف معامله‌ش کی بود. یه بار حاجی دعوتمون کرد بریم اتاقش عرق‌خوری. با زیرشلواری و عرقچین سفیدش رو تخت نشسته بود و استکان پشت استکان می‌نداخت بالا و با لهجه‌ی غلیظ ترکی‌ش جوک می‌گفت>>>
