Act or Theory?

Common Hoder! You mean since Akbar Ganji chose to go US he can not criticize US? It is exacly what he is doing (criticizing it for military approach against Iran that may curb democracy movement)why not seeing his gofteman(theory or dialectic) as his act? This logic is wrong in essence. why you chose to go Israel when you keep criticizing Israili loby? what sould be considered? your act or your Gofteman?In the contrary, I believe acts like this seems to be ground-breaking against seeing things as balck and whit, and if it is not in the favor of post-structuralism is in favor of post-modernism at least.
Moreover, when you physically leave something, does it mean that you lost your commitment to that? If Ganji has left his family it means he is discredited for having concerns about them? So why you have conerns about Iran as is reflected in your blog while you left it long time ago? I tried to write to your blog, but it has some security problems and doesn't allow. Cheers

Instead of making fun of him, challenge him

You are all obsessed with his personal life. Why not respond to what he is actually writing instead? You don't have to agree with him, and it's ok - it's not the end of the world, or IRAN! We can disagree without resorting to attacks.

The fall of this regime is near. Soon the streets of Iran will be filled with fed up and angry people and IRI will be gone. There will be a reward on your head! Your Canadian citizenship won't save you! Merceneries will be after you to collect their reward... You know take you back to be tried and put in prison with hard labor. Hence getting in shape.

Where will you hide? Stop supporting the dying IRI. You write well and you can join the people of Iran and echo their cause for freedom. It's not too late.

You are not being fair at all!  If Akbar Ganji's kids and wife are given a choice between their father/husband living abroad as a free man vs. living in a prison cell and dying in Iran, which one do you think they will choose! So, don't even mention that again. This is why many consider you a bottom dweller!!! 

Secondly, why do you focus on someone's personal life? How would you like it for people to start focusing on your past marriage and relationship with Marjan and what you did to cause the divorce, etc?

 Just a friendly advice.

I have no problem with Hossein posting this type of materials here. Freedom of expression is paramount! But as you have told me before when I tried to submitt "impressions" like this; this is NOT an article. Material like this can and should be presented as a Blog entry!

I hope you are not intimidated to accept this as an article. Because you tell other people to resubmit their stuff as Blog entries.

Again, I have no issue with freedom of expression, but this is not suited to be a featured article! This should be a Blog entry!
