هر روز راس ساعت دوازده‍ ‍‍‍ظهر با هم عشق بازی می کردیم. صدایی از ما بر نمی آمد. مادام بوواری بی صدا هم خوابگی می کرد چون دلش نمی خواست کسی صدایش را بشنود. شوهرش اگر می فهمید حتمن بلایی سرش می آورد. آقای کافکا با اینکه کتاب های آلبرت کامو را خوانده بود ولی دلش هوای خانم بوواری را داشت>>>

I recently heard a talk by an Iranian-American writer, Angella Nazarian, who like many other immigrants has a sad story to tell. In her book, Life As A Visitor, she describes her emigration from Iran at age eleven. While I found her to be a skilled speaker in command of her audience, I saw a much bigger picture and a nagging question prevented me from enjoying the event. “What about all the others?” Too many Iranians have suffered the aftermath of the last four decades’ political and social changes>>>

The Obama administration is preparing the ground for tougher sanctions on Iran by pushing to revive last year's ill-fated fuel swap deal. The renewed proposal to swap Iran's low enriched uranium for research reactor fuel is not a serious attempt at engagement, as the Unites States knows it will likely fail. Instead, it is intended to depict the United States as a reasonable negotiating partner, and Iran as a duplicitous state bent on obtaining the bomb at all costs. This could increase support for harsher international sanctions that are more strictly implemented>>>

این کار هر روز من است. بی آن که بدانم چه کسی آن را مقرر کرده و بی آن که بدانم چرا، تمام عمرم که نمی دانم چه قدر است، هر روز با یک دستمال سفید همه جا را تمیز می کنم. همه جا را پله‌ها، سالن، تمام نیمکت‌ها، گلدان‌ها، شمعدان‌ها و شمعدانی‌های باغچه، محراب اصلی، کف سنگی راهرو و آن در سبز باریک را. فقط دستم به گنبد و پرنده‌هایش نمی‌رسد. آنها ‌هم بعضی اوقات می آیند پایین و من با دستمال سفیدم گردگیری‌اشان می‌کنم، البته گنبد که نه فقط پرنده‌ها>>>
