آن چه که تا کنون اصلاح‌طلبان انجام داده‌اند از عدم شرکت در انتخابات - به معنای نامزد نشدن - فراتر نرفته است. آنان هنوز حتا از عدم شرکت به معنای رأی ندادن صریحاً سخن نگفته‌اند. ولی اگر این هم گفته شود، مسئله از یک تحریم منفعلانه پیش‌تر نخواهد رفت. آن چه که لازم است یک تحریم فعال است. فعالان تحول‌خواه جنبش سبز از مدت‌ها پیش نغمه تحریم را سر داده‌اند و در این مورد تأملی ندارند>>>

Obama rid the world of that ugly hatemonger Bin Laden. He is ending a war that should not have been waged and bringing home what remains of our mauled and scarred troops. Now he navigates the shoals between Bibi Netanyahu’s lies, Ahmadinejad’s threats, Putin’s death grip on an exhausted Russia and the European Union’s helpless moves and yet can’t achieve much on any front. All he gets is the choir on one side howling at him for American meddling and on the other side howling at him for America not intervening>>>

معاهده‌ی ان.پی.تی متشکل از سه رکن اساسی است. رکن اول آن رکن «منع تکثير» است که مطابق آن کشورهای غير هسته‌ای متعهد شده‌اند که از دستيآبی به سلاح هسته‌ای خودداری نمايند. رکن دوم آن رکن «خلع سلاح» است که مطابق آن کشورهای مجهز به سلاح هسته‌ای متعهد شده‌اند که ضمن خودداری از توليد بيشتر سلاح هسته‌ای، تدريجاً خلع سلاح نمايند. و رکن سوم، رکن «حق دستيآبی به فن‌آوری صلح آميز» است که مطابق آن نه تنها حق دستيآبی همه کشورها به تکنولوژی هسته‌ای صلح‌آميز به رسميت شناخته شده>>>

آسیه، چهارده ساله، صدمترى دورتر از آخرین خانه ى روستا، نزدیك گورستان روى سنگى نشسته بود كه نامش را بالش رستم گذاشته بودند. داشت به نام خودش مى اندیشید. فكر كرد كاش اسمش صدیقه بود. نخستین بارى كه این نام را شنیده بود دچار این حس شده بود كه در اصل یك صدیقه نامى بوده است. و به خودش گفت دیگر باید فرار كنم. از سه روز پیش كه ماه جبین كتكش زده بود داشت به فرار فكر مى كرد، و مرد كه از دور پیدا شد آسیه فكر كرد به همین شوهر مى كنم>>>

Unfortunately trade unionism is considered a dangerous offense by the Iranian government and labor activists here are persecuted like dangerous criminals. Hence the need for extra caution even in a simple message of greeting such as this>>>
