Beginnings of Post-Islamism?

People around the world have been making comparisons between the situations in their countries and those in the Arab lands in revolt. Will Saudi Arabia follow the path of Egypt? Is Azerbaijan like Tunisia? Such comparisons are often misleading, but we can't help doing it and sometimes such exercises can produce interesting hypotheses. Wealth, Poverty and Dictatorships

This is typical of all dictatorships in Middle East Arab countries and Iran. Those who hold the power, hold the wealth. Their material wealth goes beyond their needs, yet is blinded with greed. Their subjects live in poverty, but they do not see it. It is inconceivable to think there is poverty in Saudi Arabia, where money rolls in truck loads daily (so to speak).
