Arabian delights

Saturday night was spent at my cousin’s house cooking for friends whilst the boys watched rugby. I had prepared a feast of assorted Arabian delights, which also prompted me to think a little more deeply about the origins of food we were feasting on. What was on the menu? Raas-el-hanout spiced lamb, a kind of maast-o-khiar with rose petals and pomegranate seeds, battata harra (cumin & paprika spiced potatoes) tabbouleh salad, hummus, warak inab (dolmeh) and merguez sausages with harissa (Spicy paste of chillis & spices) and Khobez bread...>>>

در همان آغاز دوستی من و ساویز, به سال 1996, اندیشه و کردار این جان شیفته, آب سردی شد برته مانده ی پیشداوری های تعصب آلود من در باره همجنس گرایان. و تازه داشتم پدیده ی همجنس گرایی و او را بیشتر می شناختم که سرطان , مثل همیشه بی خبر و ناباورانه, از راه رسید و پرپرش کرد. ساویز در 8 شهریور ماه سال 1329 ( 30 آگوست 1950) در تهران به دنیا آمد. پس از اتمام تحصیلات ابتدایی و متوسطه در تهران ,در رشته "عمران ملی" دانشگاه پهلوی شیراز, فوق لیسانس گرفت.>>>

عشق در خلیج نیمه عربی فارس

صبح زیبای روز شنبه بود و فکر کردم بد نیست به بهانه خرید قدری خواربار ایرانی به طرف "سن فرناندو ولی" بروم. راه خوبی است و حدود یکساعت طول میکشد و منطقه فوق الذکرخواربار فروشی های ایرانی متعددی دارد. منتها اشکال رفتن به این مغازه ها مواجه شدن با طرز راننده گی برخی ازهموطنان درست توی محوطه پارکینگ جلوی آنهاست. بسیاری از ایرانیها همیشه از جهت غلط وارد پارکینگ میشوند و ترافیک را گره میزنند.>>>

I know some will have an almost irresistible impulse to accuse me being in favor of censorship, which I am most definitely not in favor of. However, freedom of expression does not include, the right, to viciously and unjustifiably assault a person. When the only purpose underlying a particular verbal or written utterance is to demean, humiliate and disparage a person so ruthlessly that his or her reputation is completely destroyed simply because they had the audacity to hold certain views or express certain opinions on a subject, it is not only illegal, it is immoral. An assault is an assault whether it comes in the real world or in cyber space just as cyber-libel is no less damaging as printed libel.>>>
