Those of you Iranian nationalists who have bought into the idea of a Shiite dominated middle-east headed by the Islamic Republic, wake up from the mullah inflicted trans.Yes, our Persian values are great, but what gives you the idea that with a backward anti-Persian ideology the mullahs can do it, or have anything worth exporting anywhere?Why would you even want to help expand the backwardness? Wake up and see the trends of where things are going.>>>

اینجا زندگی طور دیگری جریان دارد که با خیلی از کشورهای دیگر قابل مقایسه نیست. هشیاری و بیداری مردم فرانسه به صورت اهرم هایی مانع اقتدار و دیکتاتوری چکمه پوش ها می شود. مثلاً تمام دیروز مهم ترین خبر و تیتر اول اخبار رادیو گاز گرفتن کودکی در آسانسور مجتمعی توسط سگ همسایه بود. کودک مجروح را به بیمارستان برده اند و از همسایه شکایت خواهند کرد. اینجا با ایران که هر ۱۲ ساعت یک نفر را در میدان شهر دار می زنند تفاوت دارد.

Barcelona, October 6, 2007. I am visiting a museum of photography on a warm autumn Sunday afternoon. I am attracted to the museum by a large vertical banner that advertises its latest exhibition: "Bahman Jalali" written in dramatic red letters. I enter the exhibit and begin a journey to an exotic Iran of today & yesteryears: Fishermen of Boushehr, Seamen of Khalij, wrestlers of populous neighborhoods, all photographed brilliantly in black & white. >>>

Whether ’tis nobler in the mind (Iran) to (buffer) suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous (amassing) fortune
Or to take [nuclear] arms against a sea of troubles (shekels)
And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep(sheep)
No more–and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks (stocks) >>>

یادت می آید اولین بار چگونه با هم عشق بازی کردیم ؟ یادت می آید کجای آشپزخانه بود که هوس سکس کردن کردیم ؟ کیک را در فر گذاشته بودی ، خم شده بودی ، باسن هوس ناک ات باعث شد سر میز آشپزخانه بغلت کنم و همه بشقاب ها و لیوان ها را از روی میز بدارم تا فضای کافی برای عشق ورزیدن مهیا شود .! فکر کنم ساعت هشت شب بود هیچ کس در خانه نبود حتی صدای سگ همسایه هم نمی آمد خب شنبه شب بود رفته بودند پاپ تا دمی به خمره بزنند تو از نیوکاسل آمده بودی تا آخر هفته را با هم باشیم ولی وعده ی سکس کردن نداده بودی !>>>

واقعيت آن است که امروز مردم ما، با ملی گرائی بی کورش، و تنها با مصدق، يا هر رهبر سياسی و اجتماعی معاصر ديگر، مردمی سخت فقير خواهند بود. ما امروز، بی آنکه بخواهيم يا بتوانيم چيزی را در تاريخ اسلامی خود منکر شويم، تنها با بازگشت به گذشتهء پيش از اسلام، بازگشت به سعهء صدر کورشی، به کشورگردانی اعجاب آور داريوشی، و بازگشت به آن مهر خورشيد واره ای که در نام يکايک اشکانيان موج می زند، می توانيم سرفرازانه و با غرور روياروی جهان بايستيم.

خورشید چند لحضه پیش غروب کرد، قرص ماه در افق در حال بالا آمدن است، کلاغ ها جنجالی بپا کرده اند، سارها فوج فوج روی درختان چنارفرود میایند و انبوه جمعیت در صحن مسجد آیت اله کاشانی در پامنار نشسته اند. روضه خان چاق و فربهی خرامان و آرام آرام از پله های منبر بالا میرود. (فردی از درون جمعیت فریاد میزند): صلوات.... صدای آروغ بسیار بلند توی بلندگوی مسجد میپیچد و جمعیتِ غافل بخود میاید. این احتمالاً نشانۀ آنستکه حاج آقا روضه خوان شام را نوش جان کرده اند.>>>

این جایزه‌ی نوبل و برنده‌اش برای خودش داستانی شده است. عده‌ای از هموطنان که با افتخار نوشتند: بعد از صد و خورده‌ای سال یک ایرانی جایزه‌ی نوبل را برد! و یا برنده‌ی ایرانی‌الاصل جایزه‌ی نوبل! جل‌الخالق! به حق چیزهای نشنیده. جایی دو خطی نوشتیم به این مضمون که گویا ما کمکی عقده برمان داشته٬ آماده‌ایم تا در هر ماجرایی خود را داخل کرده و هر افتخاری را به خود بچسبانیم>>>

From all the heavenly images you get to see in Iranian functions such as their cars, houses, food, female companions and so on you hardly can picture them wondering around Wal-Mart store in their jeans. This can sometimes come as a shock. As soon as I saw him, I tried quickly to turn my shopping cart around and escape the situation by pretending that I’ve seen nothing. But when I was just ready to yank my cart to the left I saw his wife looking right into my eyes with a big smile on her face.

After reading JJ's pictorial essay on his unrealized trip to Israel, I was reminded about a confrontation/incident I had with Israel (El Al) security forces of all places in Newark International Airport (EWR). Before telling you about the incident, let me say that I am glad JJ didn't make the trip. I am saying it not because Israel has become a pariah country in the Middle-East or because it is an apartheid nation, their close cooperation with South Africa during their apartheid regime not withstanding, Arab citizens of Israel are treated as second class citizens.
