“I am planning and writing right now, resting a little after 12 years of 24-hours work days. Maybe in six months I will have an exhibition.”

“The young Iranian artists are like my children. I always keep an eye on their work. When I see their good work, I think this was once a dirt path on a foggy night, with low visibility, and it is a road now that is about to turn into a highway with lighting, road markings, and of course, hidden cameras that monitor and control the happenings.”

“Today, there are a lot of people who call themselves urban artists but have actually hurt this art form. I have always supported true artists in this field.”

“There are art-lovers whose support and encouragement has always meant a lot to me. I need their support and I am grateful to them. I am, however, cautious of some others who stepped forward to support, but actually hurt instead.”

“I have lots of plans, such as working on our website, Kolah Studio, which has served as an important source for urban and underground art. I would like to continue working and painting. Some other ideas are simmering, also, which I will share in due time.”

“I was a stranger in Iran, too, just like here… I lived and touched life in Iran for 30 years. I don’t miss anything other than a few real human beings.”

“Of course I consider this my medallion and a source of pride. There are places where I have contacts and get invited. That’s enough for me—I won’t lie and I won’t bribe anyone and I won’t sell out to money and fame. I am an independent artist. I walk down my own path and I am happy to have been standing on my own feet.”
