This lady was selling lamb kabob and chicken kabob. This was the only time I saw chicken kabob in Beijing.
I really like this park ‘cause you can visit the historical ruins, have a boat ride, and enjoy the beautiful lotus flowers. It is like a paradise! This park is not as crowded as Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
Chinese National anthem mentions the Great Wall....."Let our flesh and blood forge into our new Great Wall"!
Actually It was not easy to climb the Great Wall, I did feel super tired with my legs. At the end, nothing left in my legs! It took 2000 years to finish building the Great Wall and 2-3 million people died from building the Great Wall!

I bought a Great Wall book written in nine languages. The book says “The Great Wall is a symbol of the dauntlessly indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation and a crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people in ancient times.
Chinglish warning sign to Great Wall climbers. What it means is that if you have cardiovascular diseases, you should take precaution and be careful! After reading this sign, I got “inspired”. I am going to prove to the world that I am healthy by climbing the Great Wall! I won’t quit!
The easy section of the Great Wall had no crowd. I ran into less than 10 people. I did enjoy the tranquility and the beauty of the Great Wall.
